Dine outside this month on London’s finest street food – The Globe and Mail

London – Feast on street food and make new friends at The Long Table, an after-dark outdoor food market launched by Nuno Mendes. The acclaimed Portuguese-born chef (whose early training included stints at El Bulli and Jean Georges) and his culinary cohorts will dish out a selection of the best mobile menus in the city on Dec. 9 and 16. Diners will be seated at a banquet table, serenaded with live music, and served gourmet meatballs from The Bowler, steam buns from Yum Bun, and lamb kebabs from Moro. Even though fire pits and a fully stocked bar warm the festivities, eating al fresco in December requires proper layering. thelongtable.net

Great idea to promote street food! I guess this is similar to Toronto’s local food festivals.
